About the event

The All Party Parliamentary Group on Arbitrary Detention and Hostage Affairs would like to invite you to its hearing on the situation of British citizens and those with strong ties to Britain, taken hostage by Hamas. The hearing will take place on Wednesday 2 July from 10 - 11.30am, in Room G, House of Lords. The hearing is part of the APPG's ad-hoc inquiry into the cases of British citizens arbitrarily detained and held hostage.

 

Speakers will include:

  • Dr Sharone Lifschitz, daughter of Yocheved Lifshitz and the late Oded Lifshitz, both taken hostage by Hamas. 

  • Stephen Brisley, brother-in-law of Eli Sharabi, taken hostage by Hamas. 

  • Adam Wagner KC, Barrister at Doughty Street Chambers acting for the families of British and British-linked hostages of Hamas in Gaza.
